Key Takeaways From This Meeting

Since it was our first meeting, we spent some time framing some expectations or aspirations of the mastermind:

  • If you have a challenge or problem, think about what you want your actual outcome to be.  If you can clearly articulate that outcome, the group will be better able to help you.
  • When a problem or challenge is brought to the group, resist the urge to speculate.  The strength of the mastermind is in the experience of the members.  Speak from your experience when you know it can help solve the problem.

For the working portion of the mastermind, Terry Blome shared a challenge to his own thinking about inductions that had recently come to his attention.  The group did a nice job of sorting out the various considerations relative to Terry’s question.
